Adam Lunsford, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider serving patients at Avance Care in Raleigh, NC.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University and later pursued a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University. He has worked as a nurse, mainly focusing on caring for adults in critical conditions and children.
Adam is passionate about educating patients and building strong, trusting relationships with them to help them achieve their healthcare goals. His experience caring for a wide range of people in different healthcare settings has given him a good understanding of what healthcare means in their daily lives. Making patients feel heard and prioritizing their concerns is Adam’s main focus when he’s caring for them. He works closely with patients to figure out the best treatment options that suit their lifestyles.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter, going hiking, and visiting museums and zoos. He also likes playing basketball, lifting weights, and playing pickleball. Both Adam and his wife are active members of their church, where they teach small groups for middle schoolers and enjoy mentoring younger generations. Adam is proud to be part of professional organizations like the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the North Carolina Nurses Association, which help him stay updated with the latest healthcare knowledge and advancements.
