Claire Fitzpatrick, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider serving patients at Avance Primary Care in Raleigh, NC.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She spent eight years working as a nurse, focusing mainly on women’s health and pediatrics.
Claire is dedicated to helping patients find the best ways to be physically and mentally healthy. By volunteering at a free mobile health clinic that served an underserved population in the area, she learned that fostering and nurturing relationships is vital for staying well. Claire’s number one priority is to make sure that all of her patients feel comfortable and safe when they come to visit her, especially children. Claire works together with patients to tailor treatment plans for treatments that are both practical and affordable.
Outside of her work, Claire enjoys being indoors or outdoors with her husband and her four sons. When she’s not busy with her kids, she has fun knitting, watching movies from the Marvel series, reading books, and treating herself to some chocolate. Claire is proud to be part of important groups like the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the North Carolina Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. These groups show how committed she is to her job and to being the best nurse she can be.
