Leona Miller, MD is a board-certified Family Physician and Primary Care Doctor serving patients at Avance Care in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She completed medical school at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and her residency in Family Practice at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. She has practiced and taught medical students and family medicine residents across the country. Her latest project has been training as an integrative health coach through Duke University.
Dr. Miller values making connections with her patients. She utilizes the team-based approach and strives to increase patient engagement through integrative health coaching to guide them to their best selves and to reach their wellness goals. Dr. Miller enjoys caring for family units and patients of all ages. She has a particular interest in women’s health, office procedures, and wellness coaching.
Dr. Miller is originally from Canada. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her wonderful husband, three grown children, and 2 cats. Her passions are baking, running, and pottery.
