Kate Murphy is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Primary Care Provider with Avance Care in Apex, North Carolina.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in chemistry and secondary education from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2017, she worked in the emergency room and family medicine in New Jersey.
Kate enjoys seeing patients of all age groups. She particularly likes to help patients with chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and hypertension, manage their diseases through lifestyle changes.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They enjoy going to the beach and being outdoors. She also enjoys traveling and baking.
