Mindy McCullough is a Registered Dietitian specializing in chronic kidney disease, prediabetes, diabetes, and weight management. She graduated with a bachelor’s in clinical nutrition and dietetics from the University of Pittsburg and received her Master of Science in Nutrition from East Carolina University. Mindy aims to make nutrition and habit change approachable for everyone by keeping nutrition affordable, creative, and uncomplicated.
Mindy describes herself as having a laid-back, keep it simple approach to nutrition and aims to make healthy eating affordable, creative, and tasty. She believes that good health and nutrition doesn’t need to be new and shiny, overcomplicated, or expensive. There is no one diet for everyone and she will work with you to develop an individualized plan to help you reach your goals. Mindy enjoys working one-on-one with patients to not only achieve their goals, but also to create a lifelong realistic and sustainable relationship with food.
Outside of her professional life, Mindy enjoys walking her dog on the greenways with a good cup of coffee in hand. She always has time to talk about the Pittsburgh Penguins, soccer, and the local food scene. Many weekends you can find her hiking in the North Carolina mountains, chasing waterfalls.
