Samantha Savage, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider treating patients at Avance Care in Apex, North Carolina.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and then received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Samantha has 14 years of experience as a registered nurse and clinical leader in both the NICU at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and the NICU and Newborn Nursery at WakeMed. After obtaining her master’s degree, Samantha shifted her focus from neonates to patients across the lifespan. She worked as a primary care provider in a home-based care model providing preventive care and chronic disease management to patients in their homes, particularly the elderly. Samantha is passionate about disease prevention and believes that a healthy lifestyle and disease process education empowers patients to make informed decisions and enables them to be advocates for their health. She also believes in establishing relationships and connecting with her patients in order to provide individualized, personal care.

Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Together, they love to travel and spend time outdoors hiking and biking. Samantha is also an avid runner and runs several marathons each year.
