Sharika Bazemore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her undergraduate degree in social work from Shaw University and later obtained her Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University. Sharika has a diverse background, having provided outpatient therapy and Multisystemic Therapy (MST) to individuals and families. Sharika has also served as a clinical counselor in various school-based and adult group home settings.
Sharika’s approach to therapy is individualized and strength-based. Sharika utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to assist individuals and families in coping with their mental health diagnosis, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, parent-child conflict, and adjustment issues.
Sharika is from Ahoskie, NC. She enjoys spending time with her puppy, PJ, watching tv, sitting in silence, shopping, and visiting family members.
