Seton Ennis, LCSW (She/Her/Hers) is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving patients at Avance Care in Cary, North Carolina.
Seton obtained her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work. She has invaluable experience with adults dealing with various mental health issues, both in hospital and outpatient settings, and has experience working with crises. Her focus is on helping adults handle life’s pressures and changes, long-term health problems, anxiety, panic, feeling low, and self-harm.
She believes in tailoring her approach to best support each individual’s needs, as no individual is the same. Utilizing strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Seton aims to create a safe & collaborative space for clients to strengthen coping skills through a lens of self-compassion.
When she’s not working, the New Jersey native enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs and friends. And if she’s at home, you’ll probably catch her getting creative with crafts or trying out new recipes to see if she’s got what it takes to compete on “The Great British Bake Off.”
