Schquthia Peacock, FNP is a Primary Care Provider and Family Nurse Practitioner treating patients at Avance Care in the Preston area of Cary, North Carolina.
Schquthia graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 4 years before deciding to go back to UNC for a Masters Degree in Advance Practice Nursing. Schquthia has been in private practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1999. She takes pleasure in caring for people of all ages, but she takes a particular interest in Women’s Health.
In 2014, the North Carolina Nurses Association named Schquthia “Practice Nurse of the Year.” She received the honor of Legislative Nurse of the year in 2017. Schquthia was also awarded the 2020 AANP State Advocate Award and in 2021, she received the UNC School of Nursing Outstanding Alumni Service Award. She also is part of the adjunct faculty at the University of North at Chapel Hill School of Nursing.
Schquthia enjoys traveling with her husband. In her spare time, she advocates for patients and increased access to healthcare for all North Carolinians. She is active in the community and serves on numerous boards and committees focused on health and community service.
