Alicia Jones, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing care at Avance Care Preston in Cary, NC.
Alicia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University, graduating with departmental and institutional honors, and went on to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Alicia gained years of experience as a registered nurse in emergency departments, where she cared for patients facing acute and complex health needs. This experience shaped her appreciation for preventive care and gave her a deep understanding of how early intervention and health promotion can help patients avoid more serious illnesses down the road.
Alicia is passionate about preventive, holistic care and is committed to a patient-centered approach that places each individual’s needs and goals at the forefront of treatment. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of the clinic, Alicia enjoys spending time near the water with her husband and three children. She also loves reading, playing the piano, and photography in her spare time.
