Melynda Smith, PA-C is double board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner seeing patients at Avance Primary Care in Cary, North Carolina.
Her background includes specialty training in gynecology and internal medicine. She brings over 24 years of experience in nursing. Melynda graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, she joined the U.S. Air Force Nursing Corps. She attained the rand of Captain and served five years on active duty. Melynda went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University. She received the Academic Achievement Award for a 4.0GPA.
She is a mother of three boys and enjoys international travel, healthy cooking and exercising in her free time.
