Sara Wall, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving patients at Avance Care in Chapel Hill, NC.
Sara received her undergraduate degrees in Nursing, Education, and History at Saint Louis University. After moving to Chicago in 2010, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Midwest’s largest LGBTQIA health center before returning to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Sara graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Her work as a Nurse Practitioner has primarily been in community health and primary care, focusing on sexual wellness, reproductive health, gender-affirming care and hormone management. Sara is passionate about providing care that centers on patients’ agency and bodily autonomy.
She lives in Durham with her family and her dog Frankie. When she is not at work she enjoys cooking and being outside.
