Belle Stein is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received a dual undergraduate degree in biology and community health from Tufts University in Massachusetts and then obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University.
Prior to beginning her career as a Physician Assistant, Belle worked as a CNA at WakeMed Hospital and volunteered as a Spanish medical interpreter, deepening her compassion for patients, families, and their experiences. Belle has a special interest in preventive care, health education, and management of chronic illnesses. She believes in taking care of the whole patient, which often includes a discussion of healthy habits and emotional/mental health, along with medication management when appropriate. Belle prioritizes working together with her patients as a team when making medical decisions because she understands that patient values and preferences are key to forming the best care plans. Belle is fluent in Spanish.
In her free time, Belle enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking in North Carolina with her boyfriend. She also has fun trying out vegan recipes, practicing yoga, doing arts & crafts, and learning to play the ukulele.
