Katherine Cole, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Primary Care Provider with Avance Care at the Brier Creek location in Raleigh, NC.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Radford University Carilion, formally Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. Before joining Avance Care, she spent 2 and a half years working as an Internal Medicine Provider in Wilson, NC.
Katherine has a passion for primary care and the ability to create strong relationships with her patients. She believes in a team-based approach to health care, collaborating with her colleagues and her patients themselves to come up with the best individual plan for each patient. She enjoys educating her patients on preventive medicine and helping them to manage their chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as providing acute care.
In her free time, Katherine loves spending time in the outdoors with her husband and their golden retriever. They enjoy all types of activities such as hiking, camping, boating, and skiing. She loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family, especially when it involves seeing live music!
