Get to Know Nadia Paloma, MSW, LCSW
Nadia Paloma graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2012. She has experience in working with clients of different backgrounds, ages, and diverse populations. Nadia has worked in community mental health settings to assist clients through a variety of life stressors, transitions, and circumstances that have impacted their overall level of home, family, occupational or social functioning. She aims to assist clients in recognizing the abilities they each carry within to achieve a happier life and have a more positive view of self and the world.
Nadia strongly believes therapy should be a place where a person should feel welcome to share his or her feelings while searching for guidance, meaning, and insight into different life adversities. The primary Therapeutic Approaches she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Person-centered, and the strengths perspectives model.
