Zesta is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and her Health Science Degree in Cytotechnology from Barnes Jewish College of Nursing and Allied Health in 2004. She is a licensed Cytologist and worked in clinical pathology for several years before attending PA school. In 2011, Zesta graduated from Missouri State University with a Master’s Degree in Health Science and Physician Assistant Education. Since graduating PA school, she has worked full-time in emergency medicine treating patients of all ages. She is experienced in treating various acute and chronic conditions. She also has experience working in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and Occupational Health. Her main area of focus is disease prevention and health promotion through patient education, nutrition, fitness, and behavioral wellness.
Zesta lives in Raleigh and enjoys volunteering on international mission trips as well as working with the youth, walking, bike riding, and traveling.
