Egg White Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a cheap, healthy, easy, and quick breakfast option. It is rich in soluble fiber, which can help control cholesterol levels. The egg whites add a punch of protein to help keep you full for longer!

• ¼ cup dry rolled oats
• Dash cinnamon, to taste
• Dash salt, to taste
• 1 small banana or ½ large, mashed or sliced
• 2 egg whites (1/4 cup egg substitute)
• ¼ to ½ cup water or almond milk
• 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 3 minutes, stirring every 30-45 seconds. Let oats sit 1 minute before eating. Top with 1 tbsp. sliced almonds, if desired. Alternatively, try stirring in ½ tbsp peanut butter. Need a bigger breakfast? Double all ingredients.
