By joining the Avance Care Mallard Creek blood drive, community members have the opportunity to save lives and support the health of those who require it. This event is being coordinated in partnership with the Blood Connection, a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring a stable and sufficient blood supply for local hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Family Nurse Practitioner at Avance Care Preston, Schquithia Peacock said, “With the growing demand for blood donors, we are excited to host a flu shot clinic in conjunction with the blood drive, so participants can receive their flu shots and meet the Avance Care Preston team members. Community health education is a mission of our practice. Since our practice started in 2000, health fair participation has been key to our giving back to the community .”
