RALEIGH, NC – Dr. Pratik Desai, MD FACC, President of Avance Care, P.A. announced that a new office in Garner, NC will open on January 2, 2015. The office will be located at 876 Timber Drive across from Lowes Foods, in the former Hope Family Practice of Garner office space.
Avance Care offers high quality primary care to all ages that is convenient, affordable and efficient, with an objective to keep patients healthy and reduce overall health care cost. The new Garner office will offer services of two board certified Family Nurse Practitioners.
Stephenie Brinson, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, realizes the benefits of getting to know her patients, and creating relationships. She enjoys educating her patients and motivating them toward wellness. Stephenie has special interests in cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and women’s health. A former Professor of Nursing, she earned a Masters degree in Community Health from The Pennsylvania State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Greensboro.
Amanda Haynes, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has a strong interest in pediatric and adult obesity, improving motivation to live a healthy life, child development and establishing life-long relationships with children, adults and families. Amanda has a diverse pediatric background, as the medical field was her second career. She graduated from Duke University School of Nursing with her Masters in Nursing.
