What You Can Expect
This 4-week class, led by a registered dietitian, will teach you how to reduce your risk for developing diabetes with evidence-based lifestyle changes. Classes surround nutrition, physical activity, stress and next steps to your care.
Class Structure:
Week 1 – Welcome! Understand and Thrive with Prediabetes
Week 2 – Finding a Healthy Balance: Make your Food Choices Work for You
Week 3 – A Deeper Dive into Prediabetes Nutrition
Week 4 – Total Wellness: A Focus on other Lifestyle Factors
After completing this series, schedule 1-on-1 with a registered dietitian to implement the tools and resources you gained from the program.
Program Cost
Many insurance plans cover this program. Our nutrition coordinators will call your insurance provider to verify your benefits and will provide you with a quote of any co-pays or fees, if applicable, before the start of the class.
