Rooted in Service: A Deeper Look at Our Commitment to Community Care in Lincoln County

At its core, healthcare is about more than appointments and treatment plans—it’s about people, relationships, and the communities we care for.

For years, our team has been committed to extending care beyond our clinic walls through meaningful outreach, partnerships, and service initiatives right in our own community. Our dedication to supporting the health and wellbeing of our community in every way we can is at the heart of who we are.

From education and housing support to disaster relief and volunteer service, our efforts reflect our belief that strong communities create better health outcomes.

Supporting Early Education: Lincoln County NC Pre-K & D-Xperience

One of the most impactful areas of our outreach has been in supporting early childhood education.

In 2022, through partnerships with local programs like Lincoln County NC Pre-K and D-Xperience, we have helped expand access to high-quality early learning opportunities for children and families in our community. These programs play a vital role in preparing children for success in school and beyond, while also supporting working families who rely on safe, structured childcare.

D-Xperience focuses on providing STEM-based educational programming and accessible childcare solutions, helping bridge gaps for families who need it most.

By supporting these initiatives, we are investing in the long-term health of our community—because education and health are deeply connected.

Addressing Housing Needs: Hesed House of Hope

In 2023, our team has also partnered with Hesed House of Hope, a local organization dedicated to providing shelter and support for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Through donations and outreach efforts, we’ve contributed to their mission of offering safe housing, resources, and a path forward for those in need. Supporting organizations like Hesed House of Hope allows us to play a role in addressing one of the most critical challenges facing many communities today.

Boots on the Ground: Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Following Hurricane Helene in 2024, our commitment to community care extended far beyond donations.

Members of our medical team stepped up to provide direct, hands-on support to communities in Western North Carolina affected by the storm. Their efforts included:

  • Assisting in the setup and operation of medical clinics
  • Conducting wellness checks for impacted residents
  • Supporting search and rescue efforts
  • Distributing essential supplies such as food, water, and medical necessities
  • Participating in debris cleanup and recovery efforts

This response reflects who we are at our core: healthcare professionals who are willing to step in, serve, and support communities in times of urgent need.

A Culture of Giving Back

Our providers, staff, and team members share a genuine commitment to service. Whether through organized initiatives like MLK Day of Service or spontaneous responses to community needs, giving back is part of our culture.

Looking Ahead: Continuing the Commitment

As we move forward, our dedication to community outreach in Lincoln County remains stronger than ever.

We continue to seek out partnerships, support local organizations, and respond to the evolving needs of our community. Because being part of a community means more than providing care—it means building relationships, supporting growth, and investing in a healthier future for everyone.
