Recipe: Maple Soy Glazed Salmon

This recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors. After marinating the salmon in a simple 4-ingredient marinade, you will cook the salmon in the air fryer. It’s a quick and easy way to include more seafood in your diet.

3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets

Olive oil spray


  1. Combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, sriracha, and garlic in a small bowl. Pour marinade into a gallon size resealable bag and add the salmon.
  2. Marinate for 20 to 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade, pat dry with paper towels. Save the extra marinade in the bag.
  5. Place the fish in the air fryer basket and air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 minutes, or longer depending on thickness of the salmon. Salmon is done when gently pressed with a fork and it easily flakes apart.*
  6. While the fish is cooking, pour the marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and reduce until it thickens into a glaze about 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon over the salmon before serving.

Leftover salmon can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 days.

*To prepare salmon in the oven: Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place filets on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
