The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 6:30 PM, April 13th at 1824 E. Arbors Drive. With the opening of this 5th Charlotte location; Avance Care brings the Mallard Creek and surrounding University community a new kind of primary care. The Mallard Creek Charlotte Avance Care Primary Care is led by Lori Smith, MD. Dr. Smith is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as we all as a certified diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine with over 25 years working in internal medicine. Dr. Smith is passionate about providing comprehensive, whole person care to diverse populations ages 18 years and older. Dr. Smith’s philosophy in managing chronic diseases is to apply evidence-based medicine to address the root cause of the disease, with the intent of reversing, controlling, and preventing the complications of the disease process.
