Yuval earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology from Bar-Ilan University in Israel, came to North Carolina and completed a Master of Physiology at NCSU, and lastly graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at ECU. He comes to our clinic with experience in the Emergency Department in Kinston, NC, and in Student Health at UNC Chapel Hill.
Yuval strives to meet his patients where they are on their personal health journey and help them achieve the type of success that will motivate them to create positive change. He enjoys getting to know patients from diverse backgrounds, and learning about their cultures. He puts a high emphasis on the role of nutrition and regular physical activity in overall health and disease prevention. He has a special interest in orthopedics and sports medicine, along with lifestyle medicine.
He loves spending time with his family, either hiking, traveling, or having a quiet day at home. In his spare time, he enjoys weightlifting and listening to podcasts. He enjoys cooking and he’s always excited to try his hands at a new recipe.
