Wesley Bland, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Primary Care Provider treating patients at Avance Care Oberlin Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from NC State University and his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in 2019. He began his career in rehabilitation medicine, caring for patients recovering from complex conditions such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and strokes, as well as those in outpatient settings focused on geriatric rehabilitation and functional recovery. He practices with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to health, emphasizing nutrition, holistic wellness, and preventative care. He also provides musculoskeletal care through therapeutic joint and soft tissue injections to help relieve pain and restore function.
He brings a deep understanding of complex medical conditions and multidisciplinary care to his role as a primary care provider. Wesley strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable engaging in meaningful conversations about their health and are empowered to take an active role in their care. He believes in guiding patients through education, thoughtful recommendations, and evidence-based resources, ensuring that each care plan reflects their goals, values, and lifestyle.
Wesley was Born and raised in the mountains of western North Carolina; he is happily settled in Raleigh with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting and functional training, spending time with family, doing sports, and cheering on the Wolfpack.
