Dr. Virag Shah, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician serving patients at Avance Care in the Preston area of Cary, North Carolina. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, he provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across every stage of life.
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 1991 and has dedicated his career to delivering thoughtful, relationship-based primary care. He focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized treatment plans to support long-term wellness.
His clinical expertise includes the treatment and management of diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), knee injuries, and other acute and chronic medical conditions.
