Tamekia Powell, MA, LCAS, LCMHCS, CSOTS, TF-CBT, CCFC, has nineteen years of therapeutic experience working with adults, adolescents, older adults, families, and groups. She has extensive experience addressing a variety of concerns, including Conduct Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), ADHD, sexual trauma, crisis intervention, depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), low self-esteem, and sexualized behaviors in adolescents. Tamekia is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CSOTS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Therapist, and Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor (CCFC).

Outside of her professional work, Tamekia enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, attending concerts, and traveling.
