Olivia Meyerhoffer LCSW-A, LCAS-A is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate seeing patients at Avance Psychiatry and Pain Management in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
With a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University, Olivia has experience working with people of all ethnic and cultural origins, socioeconomic statuses, and ages through individual, family, and group therapy. She received training in psychotherapy and psychiatry at NC State University’s Behavioral Health Workforce Expansion Training program and has worked with clients struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Olivia’s experience also includes outpatient therapy, psychiatry, medication-assisted recovery, and inpatient emergency medicine. Olivia utilizes a mixture of evidence-based practices to tailor psychotherapy sessions to the patient and their needs. She believes in educating people about self-insight, positive interpersonal relationships, and overall well-being.
Olivia grew up in Richmond, Virginia, where she met her husband. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with her friends, playing with her rescue puppy, reading a good mystery novel, listening to podcasts, or exploring new Triangle restaurants.
