Nicholas Walker, MS, RDN, LDN. is a board-certified Registered Dietitian accepting new patients at Lincoln Internal Medicine, an Avance Care practice in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

He is a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Nicholas earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Nutrition from North Carolina State University. While in Raleigh, he completed both his master’s degree and supervised experiential learning through Meredith College’s Accelerated Dietitian Nutritionist Track (ADNT). During his internship, he worked in a variety of settings, focusing on sports nutrition, diabetes management, and community nutrition education. He also served as an Education Specialist for WakeMed’s Pediatric Weight Management Clinic program, ENERGIZE.

Nicholas focuses on educating in a simple, step-by-step manner. He meets patients based on their nutritional interests and individual needs, and he enjoys collaborating to build sustainable routines that fit each person’s life, prioritizing lasting change over quick fixes. His goal is to help patients develop the best possible relationship with food while finding excitement along the way.

Outside of his profession, he enjoys growing in his faith, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. On weekends, you will most likely find him in the Blue Ridge Mountains fly-fishing for wild trout.
