Nadia Haughton is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician who partners with individuals and couples from all walks of life facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger, change of life, and psychosis. She has worked with individuals in private practice, community organizations, inpatient and institutional settings, and has provided enhanced services to individuals within their homes and community. Nadia earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Fayetteville State University.
Nadia utilizes collaborative, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, reality-based, solution and emotion-focused, and strengths-based approaches to therapy while always maintaining the creativity, adaptability, and responsiveness necessary to best meet the needs of every unique individual and couple. She works to build a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive relationship to assist in working toward more effective coping. Nadia aims to help individuals gain practical skills and learn how to establish firm boundaries with the goal of having a healthier and more empowering life experience.
Nadia moved to North Carolina from New York over 20 years ago and ultimately decided to stay a while. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching television and movies with science-fiction/fantasy taking a top spot, doing the above while reading a book, and spending time outdoors.
