Michael Parrella is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Primary Care Provider seeing patients at Avance Care in Knightdale, North Carolina.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University. After graduating from Binghamton University, he began working as a certified nursing assistant. He then pursued a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University. After graduating, Michael spent a year working in the hospital but then transitioned to outpatient care at a clinic in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Growing up, Michael always enjoyed working with and helping others. After exploring possible careers, he realized medicine would be his calling. Michael has a vast wealth of knowledge in chronic disease management and enjoys working with his patients to achieve the best possible outcome. Michael has always and will always put his patients first and enjoys the relationships he develops with his patients.
Michael and his wife Emily reside in Raleigh, North Carolina with two dogs, Opie and Fenrir. As a New York native, Michael is a huge New York Yankees fan and loves to talk baseball with anyone. Michael also has a strong passion for fitness and weightlifting. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Michael is excited to be back in the Triangle area!
