Micaela Burke, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider seeing patients at Avance Care in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing with a concentration in family practice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Micaela has eight years of family practice experience and five years in hospital nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She serves as a preceptor for UNC Chapel Hill nurse practitioner students and occasionally other local schools.
Micaela encourages her patients to lead a healthy lifestyle by collaborating with them and providing evidence-based interventions. She listens to her patients’ concerns, provides education to empower them, and embraces a holistic approach to patient care.
In her spare time, Micaela enjoys reading novels and memoirs, yoga, hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two young children.
