Meredith Blumberg, LCSW-A is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with Avance Care Durham in Durham, North Carolina.
Meredith earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Public Health and a master’s degree in Social Work. Meredith has experience supporting individuals in areas such as domestic violence, HIV counseling and advocacy, substance use, and perinatal mental health. She provided counseling services at another primary care clinic, working with patients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health needs.
Meredith has experience helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, perinatal mood changes, addiction, and relationship concerns. She practices counseling through a person-centered lens, meeting clients where they are on their mental health journey. Meredith is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
Outside of work, Meredith enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, playing video games, and rock climbing. She also loves exploring her community and frequently attends local events in the Durham area.
