Megan Leblanc, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Primary Care Provider at Avance Care in Clayton, North Carolina.
Megan obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and then she went on to earn her Master of Science. After graduation, Megan dove into the medical field, starting with shadowing at a primary clinic in the New Orleans East area. In 2020, she was accepted into Xavier University of Louisiana’s Physician Assistant program and graduated as part of the school’s first cohort. Eager to make a difference in primary care, Megan went back to her roots in New Orleans East working as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant.
Her professional path has been full of diverse experiences, with a special focus on tackling health disparities in the community and serving the elderly population. Megan gets a lot of joy from building meaningful connections with her patients, following her philosophy of “treating others how you wish to be treated.”
Outside of her medical work, Megan has discovered a love for gardening and backyard farming. She’s also passionate about game design, a hobby she’s cherished throughout her life. When she’s not practicing medicine, you can catch Megan working on small projects on the Unreal Engine, either at her computer or in a local coffee shop. She’s eagerly looking forward to the exciting intersection of medicine and gaming and can’t wait to see the ongoing advancements.
