Martin English, MD is an Internal Medicine Physician and Primary Care doctor seeing patients at Avance Care Rea Farms in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. English obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1986 and completed medical school along with his residency at the University of Maryland in 1996.
For over 20 years, he has been serving patients in the Charlotte area. As a primary care physician, his emphasis is on preventive care, and long-term management of patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
Dr. English has been married for over 35 years and has two adult children. Outside of caring for patients, he loves spending time with his wife, reading and studying the Bible, and playing golf. As a passionate sports enthusiast, he enjoys cheering on his many favorite sports teams. Having grown up in the Detroit area, he is loyal to the Detroit Pistons, Lions, and Tigers. He attended the University of Michigan, and is therefore also a U of M fan, attending several of their games yearly, including the 2024 National Championship. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he is also a Steelers fan.
