Lutz Pierre, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing care at Avance Psychiatry in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Lutz has experience providing psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric patients to adults. She has treated a wide variety of psychiatric conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Her clinical background also includes working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. While working in a detoxification center, she supported patients throughout the recovery and stabilization process.
Her approach to care is rooted in patient-centered principles, recognizing that each individual’s mental health journey is unique. She believes in meeting patients where they are and fostering collaborative relationships built on trust, empathy, and respect. Lutz strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to actively participate in their treatment decisions.
Outside of work, Lutz enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, whether hiking scenic trails or going for a run. She loves traveling and exploring new destinations, embracing opportunities to experience different cultures and create lasting memories. She is always willing to make the drive to catch a beautiful sunset and values spending quality time with family and friends. Having recently made Charlotte her home, she enjoys discovering local attractions and hidden gems throughout the area.
