Jennifer Marshall is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Jennifer received her master’s degree with a concentration in family practice from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Prior to beginning her career in primary care, Jennifer covered services in the intensive care and medicine units for the Duke University Health System treating acute and chronic conditions. This provided Jennifer with the opportunity to acquire experience across multiple specialties such as emergency and surgical medicine, behavioral health, and hospice care. It was during this time that she realized her calling for preventive healthcare and family practice. Jennifer is passionate about patient education and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits. Jennifer’s goal as an advanced practice provider is to develop family-centered relationships and offer individualized support and motivation so that others are empowered to improve and reach their physical and mental health goals.
Jennifer is happily married with children and two doggies. When not in the office she spends her spare time cheering for her children at sports games, participating in Girls Scouts functions, and gardening at her home. She and her family especially enjoy traveling, taking camping trips to National State parks, and visiting new amusement parks and museums.
