Jeffrey Hutchings, MD, MBA is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to serving patients of all ages at Avance Care Waxhaw location in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Georgia, Dr. Hutchings went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. His journey continued with the completion of his Family Medicine residency at Atrium Health Union formerly known as Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, North Carolina. During his time in residency, he served as co-chief resident in his final year. In 2020, he further expanded his expertise by obtaining a Master in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
Continuously dedicated to the Charlotte area for over 15 years, Dr. Hutchings possesses a deep-seated commitment to family medicine. He is not only fluent in Spanish but also places great importance on building strong rapport with patients, recognizing its pivotal role in fostering positive health outcomes. His dedication to health equity across diverse patient groups is highlighted by his extensive experience in addressing social determinants of health and their impact on overall well-being.
Dr. Hutchings has a multitude of passions he enjoys pursuing outside of medicine. His favorite pastime is exploring different cultures abroad. As a passionate sports enthusiast, he enjoys watching football, soccer, and baseball. Dr. Hutchings also finds relaxation and fulfillment in activities like golfing, reading, and cooking.
