Ms. Aliaga-Espinoza earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Biology, from North Carolina State University. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice in North Carolina.
Ms. Aliaga-Espinoza is a bilingual Physician Assistant specializing in primary care. Prior to joining Avance Care, she practiced in a bilingual primary care and urgent care setting, providing care for patients of all ages and managing both acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
As the first-generation daughter of Peruvian parents, her passion for medicine was shaped by witnessing firsthand how access to quality healthcare can profoundly impact individuals and families. The loss of her uncle during the COVID-19 pandemic further strengthened her commitment to providing compassionate, accessible, and equitable care.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Aliaga-Espinoza believes that building trust begins with listening. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, actively participating in their care, and making informed decisions about their health. Her approach emphasizes patient education, preventive care, and individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and well-being.
