Jason Thomas is a Primary Care Provider and board-certified Physician Assistant treating patients at Avance Primary Care in Cary, North Carolina.
Jason grew up in Anaheim, California. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Brigham Young University in Utah and worked in a hospital laboratory in California for the following two years. He earned his master’s degree from the physician assistant program at Campbell University and later completed fellowship training in pediatric surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Upon completion of the fellowship, he moved back to North Carolina where he worked at an urgent care clinic.
Jason has a special interest in pediatrics but is happy to see patients of all ages and backgrounds. He is a strong advocate for working together with families to form mutual plans that maximize overall health and wellness.
Jason lives in Fuquay-Varina with his brilliant wife and four amazing daughters that keep him very busy. He enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his church, cooking, running, and exploring.
