Hannah Morisi, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing care at Avance Care Northeast Raleigh. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University’s surgical-focused program in Knoxville, Tennessee, after completing her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Emory & Henry University.
Originally born and raised in a small town in Virginia, she moved to the Raleigh, North Carolina, area when she met her husband. The vast majority of her training was completed across Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. Her background includes experience in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, pulmonology, pediatrics, behavioral health, women’s health, and hospital medicine, giving her a well-rounded foundation for caring for patients throughout every stage of life.
In addition to her Physician Assistant certification, she is a Certified Medical Examiner and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). Hannah provides care in English and is committed to ensuring patients feel heard, informed, and involved in their healthcare decisions.
Hannah believes the best healthcare begins with listening. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and partnering with them to create personalized treatment plans that fit their individual goals and lifestyles. While practicing evidence-based medicine, she enjoys incorporating a functional medicine approach when appropriate by focusing on the root causes of disease, preventive care, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits. She believes in partnering with patients to help them make informed decisions and achieve their best possible health through compassionate, respectful, and individualized care.
Outside of the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, staying active, and cheering on hockey with her husband. She values maintaining a healthy work-life balance and believes that her personal interests and background help her bring energy, empathy, and a positive attitude to every patient interaction.
