Gabriela Meyer, MD, is a physician dually board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She sees patients at Lincoln Internal Medicine, an Avance Care practice, in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
Dr. Meyer has practiced medicine in Lincoln County since 2014 and is a graduate of East Lincoln High School (Class of 2001). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Vermont–Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont, followed by a Geriatrics Fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Meyer provides compassionate, high-value adult primary care with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and the care of older adults. She practices within an interdisciplinary, patient-centered model and uses an evidence-based approach to help patients improve health outcomes, reduce morbidity, and maintain functional independence. Dr. Meyer is also a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society.
Dr. Meyer is married and has two children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, puzzles, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
