Gene Farrug, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive, holistic care for patients of all ages. He sees patients at Avance Care North Raleigh and Avance Care Broad Street.
He completed his graduate clinical training at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as a professor and clinical provider, and he finished his doctoral work with a specialty in biometric screening at East Carolina University. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Western Michigan University.
He practices in a scientific manner and believes in measurable outcomes with his patients, and he believes in relationship-centered care.
He loves hiking and exploring the natural world with his family and dogs and is an avid traveler, music lover, and sports fan.
