Dylan Newton, MSW, LCSWA is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate seeing patients at Avance Care Behavioral Health at Centers of Excellence in Raleigh, NC.
Dylan earned his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington then went on to obtain his Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University. In practice, Dylan utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. He has worked with a variety of ages children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns such as mood and personality disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and eating disorders.
He provides individual and group counseling to allow accessibility to all patients. Dylan is dedicated to helping his patients overcome different obstacles in their lives and ensuring they understand that mental health is not a battle that should be fought alone. Through the therapy process, it is his mission to promote emotional well-being, positive interpersonal relationships, and better self-awareness.
When Dylan is not at work he enjoys hanging out at the beach, going to the movies, listening to music, and spending time with his two dogs.
