Dominique Stamps is a licensed registered Dietitian Nutritionist with certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate degree in nutrition at the University of Central Arkansas. Her nutritional experience is through her internship at UCA, Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort food services, Hot Springs, AR, and the Arkansas Heart Hospital, Little Rock, AR.
Dominique was born in North Carolina and relocated to Arkansas at an early age. She returned to be close to family, which consists of educators, with her grandmother being a culinarian and featured in a popular NC seafood book. Dominique chose to pursue a career in nutrition because she has a passion for educating, especially in underserved communities, to improve food and physical activity lifestyle choices. She believes that a person should live upright, be mobile, and be medication-free for as long as possible.
In her free time, Dominique loves volunteering with service organizations in her community. She is also an outdoorsy person that enjoys the beach, hiking, running, and traveling.
