David Meyer, MD

David Meyer, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician seeing patients at Lincoln Internal Medicine, an Avance Care practice, in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Dr. Meyer has been practicing medicine in Lincoln County since 2013.

After growing up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan. He also received a Master of Medical Sciences from Boston University. Thereafter, he earned his medical degree from the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, followed by completion of his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Vermont.

Dr. Meyer cares for adult patients across the spectrum from health to complex illness. His practice philosophy includes the aims of preventative medicine, healthy living education, and compassionate, evidence-based management during times of acute or chronic illness. Dr. Meyer speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Meyer is married and has two children. Outside of medicine, he is an enthusiast of outdoor activities, travel, rock music, running, and soccer.
