Courtney Evans, LCMHC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2018. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University and holds a certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling and Behavioral Addictions.

Courtney works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, family dynamic distress, women’s trauma, substance use, grief, ADHD, and issues related to shame and guilt. She supports clients through life transitions and overwhelming or unexpected circumstances, with the goal of increasing clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Her counseling style is warm, vibrant, and interactive, offering both support and gentle challenge to promote meaningful change.

Courtney’s integrative, individualized approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic frameworks. She believes that seeking help takes courage and applauds clients for taking this important step toward a more fulfilling life. As Robert Frost reminds us, “The best way out is always through.” Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, and enjoying good food.
