Brittany Bosco, FNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Asthma Educator serving patients at Avance Primary Care in Morrisville, North Carolina.
She grew up in Buffalo, NY, and attended Buffalo colleges. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Daemen College in 2014, and worked as a hospital bedside nurse in medical-surgical, and dialysis units for 4 years. To be a nurse was always her dream and passion, though she recognized that most illness is a direct effect of the unknown. This drove her to seek higher-level education that would allow her to work in a primary care setting where she could help patients better understand acute and chronic diseases. She then obtained her master’s degree in family nurse practice at D’Youville College in 2018.
Her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner began at a primary care pediatric practice where she worked for 3 years. She has a great passion for working with children and values a family-centered approach to care. Just recently, she moved to North Carolina with her husband and two dogs, and was welcomed to work with the Avance Care team in early 2022. She is excited to build relationships with Cary and Morrisville communities and be able to provide preventive care education, management, and treatment to individuals with acute and complex care needs.
As much as Brittany misses her family, the snowy winters, and being just blocks away from the Buffalo Bills stadium; she and her husband have quickly adapted to the North Carolina heat. They are constantly looking for active and fun things to do in the triangle. When you come to see her, she welcomes suggestions for great places to eat and fun attractions!
