Brenda Thomas, PA-C is a Primary Care Provider and board-certified Physician Assistant at Avance Care in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Brenda has two decades of clinical experience in family practice. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC in 1986. She completed her physician assistant degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1990. Brenda is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the NC Medical Society.
Brenda began her career in the prison system in Georgia. Since that time, she has worked in various clinical settings, including HMOs such as Kaiser Permanente, military medicine, urgent care, and private practice. Through these experiences, she developed a wealth of knowledge which enables her to serve patients with quality care, utilizing techniques and practices based on proven data from various medical studies. Coupled with a heartfelt compassion for the patient and their overall well-being, Brenda provides thorough patient care with a personal touch.
In her spare time, Brenda enjoys lazy days at the beach, line dancing, playing tennis, and spending time with loved ones and friends. As a long-standing member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., she is deeply involved in the community and actively participates in community service events.
