Bethany Dieringer (she/her), MPH, RDN, LDN, is a registered dietitian specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating.
Bethany earned her Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University. She is an active member of the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD) and the Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC), where she engages in local and federal advocacy efforts to raise awareness and advance comprehensive eating disorder policy.
Bethany has experience across multiple levels of eating disorder care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. She approaches nutrition counseling with compassion and collaboration, walking alongside clients throughout recovery. Bethany believes that people of all body sizes, shapes, genders, races, and ethnicities deserve respectful, affirming care.
She has worked with clients across the lifespan and with a wide range of diagnoses, with a particular interest in supporting gender-diverse individuals and athletes. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based, non-diet nutrition care and incorporates the principles of Intuitive Eating and body size neutrality. She believes that food is more than physical nourishment and is passionate about helping clients make peace with food, engage in joyful movement, and reconnect with self-attunement.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys staying active through tennis, volleyball, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She also loves creating delicious meals in her kitchen and cherishes time with her family.
